I still can't get over how stupid it is to have students taking class notes even when there were photocopiers in every school. In the Internet age nowadays, class notes should have been posted on the Net before each class so students can have all the notes downloaded before hand free them to take down their own notes in class instead of frantically copying all the class notes by any means and get all distracted from the teacher's verbal lecture. IF class notes is all that is needed and teachers couldn't call less if their students missed all their verbal lectures, then why bother having classes at all?!
Education is supposed to teach those who lack the knowledge so they can learn for the better, move on, and keep improving themselves; yet education itself stays in the dark ages with hardly any improvement over the decades!

I meant "...and teachers couldn't CARE less if their students missed all their verbal lectures..."
